We would like to introduce to you usako, Japanese jewelry designer, who is going to have her first exhibition in Saigon “SONGS” this coming November.
She started to create her own jewerly works from 2008 in Osaka, second biggest city in Japan. She uses natural stones and pearls, places them into perfect composition with beautiful color balance and creates into shapes of necklaces, earings, bracelets, and so on. They are beautiful and peaceful. We are surprised to see how she pays attention into details and that might be the reason why we feel happy and confortable wearing her works.
She moved to Ho Chi Minh City in 2010 and stayed there for 3 years. During this period she created more than 1500 pieces of works for her customers, mostly in Ho Chi Minh City.
For usako, Ho Chi Minh City is a very special place as this is where she developped her career as jewelry designer. Ho Chi Minh City is also special as this is the first place for her to live overseas. She met a lot of Vietnamese people of warm heart, saw them how much they love their family. She learned from them the most important things in life which she had forgotten in busy days in Japan. So now usako is really happy to have her first exhibition “SONGS” in this city where she has plenty of great memories.
She has her exhibition partner, gla_gla, Japanese glass blowing artist, whose works are mixed with dynamic and sensitive impression and they are really beautiful. Collaboration works of usako and gla_gla, blowing glass + jewelries, are of course worth to see!
usako and gla_gla are looking forward to seeing you at her exhibition “SONGS”, Nov28-Dec1 at emem Gallery, 81 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
